Terms & Conditions

  • FairPrice Walks With U (“Walk”) is the Event organised by NTUC FairPrice Cooperative Limited (“Organiser”).

  • Completion of the official online registration form confirms the Participant’s agreement to abide by these Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) and the Agreement and Waiver.

  • The Participant shall: (i) provide true, accurate, and up-to-date information in the registration form; and (ii) promptly update the Registration Data to keep it current and complete. The Organiser may contact the Participant from time to time by email. Any notice sent to the email address registered with the Organiser shall be deemed to be received by the Participant.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or postpone the Walk at any time without prior notice, in which case, all reasonable efforts to inform the Participant prior to the date of the Walk will be made. In the event of such cancellation, no refund whatsoever will be made and the Organiser shall not be liable to the Participant for any loss, damage or inconvenience suffered or incurred, however caused by such cancellation or postponement.

  • In the event of inclement weather, the Organiser may on account of the safety and security of the Participants, delay the start of the Walk. However, should inclement weather persist or worsen during the course of the Event, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the Walk.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to amend the route as they deem fit for the safety of the Participant and avoidance of hurt / injury without prior notice to the Participant. In such cases, every effort will be made to inform the Participant prior to the date of the Walk.

  • Whilst all reasonable precautions will be taken by the Organiser to ensure the Participants’ safety, Participants agree to take part in the Walk at their own risk and warrant that the Organiser will not be responsible or held liable for any risk of injury or death unless the same arises as a result of the Organiser’s negligence, default or deliberate act. Participants shall ascertain his/her own or your ward’s level of fitness and/or consult your medical practitioner prior to registering for or taking part in the Walk.

  • Participants must complete the reverse side of the Bib and must attach the assigned Bib on the front of their walking attire. Participants not wearing a Bib may be removed from the route by security officers or route marshals.

  • Participant shall withdraw from the Walk immediately if so ordered or determined by the Organizers and/or its officials whether for reason that the Participant’s continued participation poses a health risk to himself/herself, Participant act/behave in such a manner so as to cause or is likely to bring disrepute to the Organizers or public disquiet/alarm or for whatsoever reason.

  • Pets, bicycles, in-line skates, push carts, shoes with built-in or attached rollers and any other wheel-run objects are not allowed on the route.

  • Participant agree that no fee refund will be entertained for Participants who are unable to or fail to take part in the Walk for any reason whatsoever.

  • There is no minimum age to participate in the Walk. Children below the age of 7 (as of 1 January 2017) are entitled to free entry and are not required to register for the Walk, but will not be entitled to a goodie bag or event T-shirt.

  • Participants below the age of 18 as of 1 January 2017, are required to seek parental/guardian consent, failing which, the Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to that Participant.

  • Participants aged 12 years old and below as of 1 January 2017, are required to be accompanied by a parent or a guardian throughout the Walk.

  • Participant expressly consent to allow his/her personal data to be collected, used and/or disclosed for the purpose of administering and managing your participation in this Event including Organizers’ right to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of you in connection with the Walk, for any PR exercise, including but not limited to commercial advertising.

  • Participant agree to personally collect goodie bags and T-shirts at the designated collection date and venue. There will be no registration or collection of goodie bags and T-shirts by Participants on the date of the Event .

  • Any Participant who is unable to collect his/her goodie bag and T-shirt in person may authorise a representative to make the collection. For verification purposes, the authorised representative will have to provide an authorisation letter, a copy of the participant's NRIC (both sides) and the representative's NRIC.

  • The contents of goodie bags may vary between persons. Event shirts and goodie bag items are not exchangeable or refundable.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to modify or substitute any of these T&Cs from time to time without prior notice. Any amendments to these T&Cs will be updated on this website.
